Ready to take the next step in your career and start booking online speaking engagements? Ovationz connects you with Bookers seeking talent like you for their events. Here’s how to set up your Ovationz talent profile and start getting booked.
First things first: you’ll need to create a new Ovationz Talent account. Go to Ovationz.com and click the Sign Up button => Sign Up As Talent.
You will need:
- Your email address
- A password
- Personal information
We will verify that you're a human being by sending you a verification code via text message, once you have entered this code, your account is created and you can carry on entering your talent profile details.
2. Add Your Bio
Help Bookers get to know you better. Your bio should contain some details about you as well as your professional experience and credentials. Let them know why you’re a great choice to speak at their event. Tell your story to help you start connecting to the right audiences.
3. Include a Profile Picture
A picture is worth a thousand words. It’s also a great way to get more bookings. Let your prospective Bookers see your face. Profiles with photos get more views and drum up more interest. Choose a photo that reflects your personal brand and sets the tone for what a Booker can expect from you. We suggest using a 1:1 photo (same length as width) for the best fit.
4. Topics
Choose the top 3 to 5 topics that you are known for and select them.
5. Upload Video Snippets and Samples
Give Bookers a taste of what working with you will be like. Upload video snippets of your previous events or other links to your work. Help them get to know you on a deeper level so they can book with confidence.
6. Establish Your Offerings
Offerings are your services and specialties. For each one, you’ll define a title and brief description of the service. Your offerings will help you stand out from other Ovationz talent and attract Bookers interested in your specialties.
We suggest including keywords in the title and description that might catch a Booker’s eye when looking for Speakers in your niche. For instance, if you are an inspirational speaker, including this in your title is more likely to attract someone looking to book inspirational speakers.
7. Set Your Pricing
As an Ovationz speaker, you can set your own rates for your services. Please note that Ovationz will take 20% of every booking, so make sure you factor this into your pricing to ensure you receive the rate you deserve.
8. Connect a Stripe Account
All payments are facilitated through Stripe. You will need to set up a Stripe account in order to receive payments from your bookings. Get started here.
